Our partner Dietsmann
In 2019, Taurob signed a cooperation agreement with Dietsmann, the leading independent Operation & Maintenance specialist for continuous-production plant in the oil & gas, conventional and nuclear power generation and mining industries. Dietsmann has over 40 years of experience operating and maintaining hundreds of production facilities around the world, applying the most effective operational methods and specialist maintenance technology. Their know-how of applied maintenance adds a wealth of expertise to the development of our robots and the added value of their deployment.
Dietsmann invests in the digitalisation and robotization of its core business, to lead the way towards Smart Operation & Maintenance. In 2019, it even launched a dedicated start-up, Dietsmann SmartLabs (DSL), convinced that ‘Robotics’ and ‘Big Data’ are crucial instruments of the Operation & Maintenance of tomorrow. Since 2016, Dietsmann has been a member of the governing Program Committee (PC), active in the ‘SPRINT Robotics’ collaborative to promote, stimulate and deploy industrial inspection and maintenance robot solutions. In addition, Dietsmann is Coordinator of the Action Group Remote Operators (AGRO) of ‘SPRINT’.
“Taking men out of harm’s way, optimizing safe operations and economizing inspection and maintenance costs are the main drivers behind Dietsmann’s adoption of robotics in the Oil & Gas industry.”
The determination to deploy autonomous and remotely controlled robots for smart inspection and maintenance automation is driven by the following of Dietsmann’s goals:
- Putting men out of harm’s way.
- Optimizing the costs of energy production.
- Reducing emissions into the environment.
