The Future of the Robotic Inspection
Our two front-runners, inspector robots, Charles and Edwards are at Total’s Shetland Gas Plant for more than three months now. Total Investor’s Day
In our first deployment at TOTAL’s Shetland Gas Plant this year, we have successfully launched 50 fully autonomous robot missions without a flaw. The missions were started from the control room of the site and transmitted live to TOTAL’s smart room in Aberdeen. A great success for everybody involved!
Abu Dhabi International Petroleum Exhibition & Conference 2019
Together with Total we exhibited our Taurob Inspector to the public at ADIPEC. The main attraction was the possibility to plan and execute autonomous inspection missions from Abu Dhabi in our Test Center in Vienna. The show proved to be a great success. Our robot was demonstrated to many high level visitors.
SPRINT World Conference Rotterdam 2019
A Taurob delegation attended the SPRINT Robotics World Conference of Inspection & Maintenance Robotics in Rotterdam. Together with Eric Bartoli from Total R&D, Matthias Biegl held a presention of an industrial pilot performed at a gas processing plant in the Shetlands.
SPE Offshore Europe Conference & Media Exhibition in Aberdeen
In the Total stand at the Offshore Europe Conference & Exhibition, Taurob demonstrated a prototype robot nicknamed 'Stevie'. Stevie made quite an entrance to the floor of the exhibition!
Inauguration of TADI and the Robotics Development Platform in Lacq
The Total E&P project has opened a Robot Development Platform in Lacq, in southwestern France. Backed by the Transverse Anomaly Detection Infrastructure (TADI), the new test center is optimized for robotics.
Taurob and Dietsmann Sign Partnership
Taurob and Dietsmann Smart Robotics Lab (DSRL), a 100%-owned subsidiary of the Dutch Dietsmann Group, signed an investment and joint development agreement during a ceremony at the Austrian Embassy in The Hague.
