In order to safely take samples of hazardous materials an appropriate device has been integrated on the robot. The proposed container can be opened automatically using the gripper. In the lid the actual removal device (wipe samples, pipette, etc.) is enclosed. Thus, the sample is taken and stored safely by a preset arm movement. The arm can lift the entire container from the robot and consequently put in a decontamination solution.
